What are ComoNe’s business hours?
ComoNe is open from 9:00 to 21:00 on weekdays, and 10:00 to 18:30 on Saturdays.
It is closed on Sundays, national holidays, and during the year-end and New Year holidays.
Additionally, ComoNe may close on other days designated separately, such as the summer break (Obon period) and Nagoya University entrance examination days.
Is eating and drinking allowed at ComoNe?
Eating and drinking are generally permitted at ComoNe.
However, in the following areas, please refrain from consuming food and beverages except for drinks with caps:
No Eating/Drinking Areas: ROOTS BOOKS, FAB SPACE, STUDIO, GALLERY, SINTOKOGIO SAND THEATER
Are there any places to buy food and drinks inside ComoNe?
Yes. There is a KIOSK(shop)on the B1 floor where you can purchase drinks and light snacks.
Are there any vending machines inside ComoNe?
Yes. Vending machines are located near the INFORMATION desk on the B1 floor.
Where can I inquire about lost and found items at ComoNe?
Please contact the INFORMATION desk or use the Inquiry form.
Is there a place where I can smoke?
The entire Nagoya University Higashiyama Campus, including ComoNe, is smoke-free.
Is there a parking lot?
There is no public parking available on campus.
Please use nearby coin-operated parking lots.
How can I access the ComoNe with a stroller or wheelchair?
Please refer to the access map from Nagoya University Station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Meijo Line to the ComoNe, provided below.
Route to ComoNe without using stairs.
Can I borrow books from the bookshelves?
Books can be borrowed and returned at the INFORMATION desk on the B1 floor.
Up to three books may be borrowed per person, and the loan period is 14 days.
Some books are for reading inside ComoNe only.
Are there coin lockers available at ComoNe?
ComoNe does not provide lockers available for same-day use. Please use the coin lockers at the subway station.
As a membership option, lockers are available on the B1 floor for a monthly fee.

Which areas at ComoNe require reservations?
Reservations are required for meeting rooms and open spaces when you wish to use them exclusively.
Open spaces may be open for general use when no reservations have been made.
Is ComoNe available for use by the general public?

How do I reserve facilities as an organization member?
Organization members must first submit a system registration request via the
inquiry form.
Once registered in the system, you will be able to reserve facilities.
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made via the
knotPLACE
reservation site. User registration is required to make reservations.
For regular use or collaborative activities, membership options are also available.

Can I rent a bookshelf (one box) from ROOTS BOOKS?
By registering as a “Shelf Owner,” you can rent one bookshelf for ¥2,000 per month and manage it.

What is the availability of the facility?

Can I visit the rooms in advance?
We offer regular guided tours of the facility called the
ComoNe Tour
by the Peatix webpage.
If you wish to view specific rooms individually, please inquire at the INFORMATION desk on the B1 floor.
Please note that tours may not be possible on the day of your visit, depending on reservation status.
We appreciate your understanding.
How far in advance can I make a reservation?
Reservations open 60 days in advance for the general public and 120 days in advance for members.
Please explain the process on the day of my reservation.
Check-in begins 5 minutes prior to your reservation time.
Please proceed to the INFORMATION desk on the B1 floor.
After use, please restore the space to its original condition and complete the check-out procedure at the INFORMATION desk.

How can I reserve FAB equipment?

Can FAB equipment be used by people other than students or staff of Nagoya University or Gifu University?
Yes, anyone can use the equipment. However, you must complete the FAB training before use.
What equipment is available for use?
You can use 3D printers, Laser cutters, UV printers, Digital embroidery machines, Milling machines, 3D scanners, and Cutting plotters.
Can I purchase materials?
These items are not sold at ComoNe, so please bring any necessary materials with you.
The 3D printer comes with filament included.
Where is the Members Area?
ComoNe has three LOUNGE spaces and private booths on the B1 floor.
Spaces marked with “MEMBERS ONLY” signs are exclusively for members to use as workspaces or collaborative areas.
Can non-members use the Member Area on a drop-in basis?
Non-members can use the Member Area on a drop-in basis for one day.
The drop-in fee is JPY 2,000 per day.

Can a corporation register for membership?
Corporations can join as Corporate Members.
Corporate memberships include free meeting room usage (subject to monthly time limits) and workspace access for affiliated members.

You cannot register ComoNe’s address.
Can I send packages to ComoNe?
ComoNe does not handle package pickup or delivery.
Please arrange this yourself.
Is membership fee-based?
Yes. Our membership menu is available for a fee. We also offer the “NenoNe Program” as a special privilege, allowing participants to engage with ComoNe for three months.
If you apply for and are selected for the “NenoNe Program,” you can participate while enjoying the same benefits as members.

Can I take photos inside the ComoNe facility?
Photography is permitted inside ComoNe for personal use only.
When taking photos, please be considerate of others around you, such as avoiding capturing passersby or unrelated individuals in your shots.

駅から図書館までを繋ぐ通り。屋台型の展示が立ち並びます。展示を眺めながらひと休みできるソファや大階段もあります。
This is a passageway connecting the subway station to the library.
The PASSAGE will be lined with stall-type exhibits.
There are also sofas and a grand staircase where visitors can take a break while viewing the exhibits.
様々な人々が混ざり合う“ローム”と名付けられたホール。講演などに利用できる約120席のホール。大階段まで合わせて利用することもできます。
LOAM HALL is a hall named “loam” where various people mix.
It seats about 120 people and can be used for lectures and live performances.
When the number of people is large, the hall can be used together with the grand staircase.
大きな本棚とゆったりとしたソファがあるエリア。棚主として、自分のルーツとなる本を並べる本棚を作ることもできます。本を介したつながりがここから生まれます。
ROOTS BOOKS has a large bookshelf and comfortable sofas.
As a shelf owner, you can also create your own bookshelf to display your own roots books. This place allows people to interact with each other through books.
靴を脱いで過ごせるスペース。
円になって座って話してみたり、床に紙をおいてみんなで書き込んでみたり。いつもと違うスタイルが新しい想像力を引き出します。
KOAGARI is a space where you can take off your shoes.
You can sit in a circle and talk there. You also can place a piece of paper on the floor and discuss with others.
The unusual style brings out new imagination.
活動の合間に、一息つけるような軽飲食を取り扱います。
Light food and beverages will be handled so that you can take a break between activities.
60席ほどのレクチャールーム。自由に形を変えるサンド(砂)のように、さまざまな形式で開催される講座や講演に、こちらでご参加いただけます。座席は、1階に接続される階段の上に配置されています。
SAND THEATER is a lecture room with about 60 seats.
Here, visitors can participate in lectures and talks held in a variety of formats, just like sand, which changes its shape freely.
Seats are located at the top of the stairs connected to the first floor.

"ROOM" is a space that can be used by individuals or groups for work, including manufacturing, or for meetings with multiple people.
吹き抜けになっている1階から地下の様子を見渡せます。廊下のカウンター席では、個人作業をすることもできます。
The basement can be seen from the first floor, which is an atrium. Individuals can work at the counter in the hallway.
7箇所の個室はすべてガラス張りになっており、活動の様子をアピールすることができます。
